Okayyyy I have been doing some retail therapy, I guess to counter the difficulties of physique prep?– and so I been purchasing SENSIBLE (IMO) items that are healthy or help make life easier. Case in point: Foodsaver.
Just a little background tho. FYI, I just moved. In my old place, my roommate was so kind as to let me take over the majority of the freezer space for my prepped foods, bless her heart.
BUT now I am moved. Into a place with more people AND less freezer space. Freak out. What to do? I have to be more efficient with my food storage. Hence, Foodsaver, “The #1 Vacuum Sealing System.” Yes, from the infomercial. But you know what? The thing is legit. At least based upon my preliminary usage of it.
Yesterday I did my mandatory food prepping…and portioned out my meals of, say, (CURRY) chicken, veg, (delicious exotic) oil, and (ORGANIC AMAZING) rice, and put it in the Foodsaver bag and VACUUM SEALED THAT SHIT AND IT WAS PRETTY AWESOME. The air got sucked out of the bag and turned the meal into a much smaller size, so that I can store it more compactly in the freezer!

So far, so good! Hope the gadget doesn’t break on me or anything, but so far all is good 😉
