Today I tried a (slightly) heated vinyasa class at Yoga at Cindy’s. I was still extremely terrible and flexible. And…strangely…weak. I am not used to holding myself in the positions specified, so ish was hard. As I was trembling and awkward, the teacher said “Find your joy!”
ummm…yeah.
I actually bought my first yoga mat (off Amazon) so I can stop renting mats. I bought a squishy one to cushion my knees. I now realize it makes for much more difficult balancing. Whoops.
The teacher was a total badass, tho, 58 years young and supper ripped and strong and putting herself in crazy circus moves.
Yoga just doesn’t seem for me?
But I’ll keep trying a few more.
(I know, it’s weird)
